Magnan Metz Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of SPICES, a group exhibition presented by Friends Seminary’s curation class. The opening reception is on Wednesday, May 25th from 5.30 – 8pm and the exhibition will remain on view until June 3rd, 2016.
S.P.I.C.E.S refers to Quaker values (Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship) that are core principles present at Friends Seminary. The students wanted to explore the complexities of how these values can be interpreted in a myriad of ways. Each artist contributed their own artistic vision to the collection in order to gain a deeper understanding of one or more of these virtues.
